Qualities: The best surprise from Partagás.
A Robusto that has sneaked in through the back door.
Its presentation, in a flat box, but following the rules
of the so called new-generation Habanos, left us perplexed,
until savoring them. It seems as if, until now, none
has dared to compete with the Cohiba cigars but, if
you like the Partagás line, this Cohiba cigars
but, if you like the Partagás line, this is one
of the best Robustos on the marke
Review
Notes 1: I had a stick that was only 6 months
old and it was one of the finest smokes that I have
ever had. I am afraid of what this stick will blossom
into!
Review Notes 2: One of the very best
cigars I've ever smoked - if not the best. I've only
smoked two out of the box, but construction on both
was incredible. Dead even burn, light-medium gray
ash, heavenly draw. Flavor is complex, somewhat floral
and totally enjoyable. I could smoke this cigar every
day and never tire of it.
Review Notes
3: A true connoisseur cigar, especially ones
who prefer Cuban tobacco. This is probably the best
vitola Partagas has recently made. Give this baby
another 6 to 12 of aging and it will become a classic.
The cigar I smoked came from the box dated July 2002,
after nestling for 4 months in my humidor and it is
just great!
Review Notes
4: full bodied,full flavored,even burn and
grey ash. hands down the best of the 2001 l.e. releases.
i purchased 2 boxes of these babies,1 to age and 1
to smoke. this is a must have cigar, partagas lives
up to it's true name.
