Qualities: The best surprise from Partagás. A Robusto that has sneaked in through the back door. Its presentation, in a flat box, but following the rules of the so called new-generation Habanos, left us perplexed, until savoring them. It seems as if, until now, none has dared to compete with the Cohiba cigars but, if you like the Partagás line, this Cohiba cigars but, if you like the Partagás line, this is one of the best Robustos on the marke

Review Notes 1: I had a stick that was only 6 months old and it was one of the finest smokes that I have ever had. I am afraid of what this stick will blossom into!

Review Notes 2: One of the very best cigars I've ever smoked - if not the best. I've only smoked two out of the box, but construction on both was incredible. Dead even burn, light-medium gray ash, heavenly draw. Flavor is complex, somewhat floral and totally enjoyable. I could smoke this cigar every day and never tire of it.

Review Notes 3: A true connoisseur cigar, especially ones who prefer Cuban tobacco. This is probably the best vitola Partagas has recently made. Give this baby another 6 to 12 of aging and it will become a classic. The cigar I smoked came from the box dated July 2002, after nestling for 4 months in my humidor and it is just great!

Review Notes 4: full bodied, full flavored, even burn and grey ash. hands down the best of the 2001 l.e. releases. i purchased 2 boxes of these babies,1 to age and 1 to smoke. this is a must have cigar, partagas lives up to it's true name.

Review Notes 1: This Reviews Rating: 9.75 I hadn't smoked a Cohiba of any shape or size for a while. This cigar was fantastic. Great draw, nice and creamy. Larger cigars have my attention now but I loved this Cohiba. Will defenitly buy a full box.

Review Notes 2:
This Reviews Rating: 9.55 What a nice cigar. Perfect construction, draw smoke, taste ! A mouth full of gentle sweet smoke. Unique cohiba taste, so delicate and subtle. A pure please from the beggining to the end. And also what a nice fragrance about them unlit ! Liquorice, pain d'épice... A cigar you should always have spare time for !

Review Notes 3:
This Reviews Rating: 9.90 I don't think I've ever smoked a better cigar. These cigars are less than a year old, and they're absolutely delicious. The burn is perfect, the draw is perfect, and the aroma is heavenly. I'm trying to limit my consumption so as to let this box age, but that's difficult to do. A solid ten for these cigars.

Review Notes 4:
This Reviews Rating: 9.69 It's very difficult to say anything bad about any of the Siglos. In the case of the Siglo III which I smoked yesterday, the cigar was so good I wish it had been a bigger cigar! I am finding more and more that the consistency and level of quality in Cohiba is unparalleled in the cigar industry. I cannot add anything futher to the reviews that have already been posted. I can, however, confirm that the Siglo III is an excellent cigar and one in which you will not be disappointed.

THE BEST PETIT ROBUSTO IN THE HABANOS MARKET

HOYO DE MONTERREY
PETIT ROBUSTOS

(1 Box of 25)

Name Hoyo de Monterrey P Robustos
Brand Hoyo de Monterrey
Factory Name Petit Robustos
Size 102 x 19.87 mm.
Ring 50
Presentation Semi Boite Nature of 25
Other Websites prices:
245 euros
Our Price:
189 euros
Qualities: Mild and earthy beginning. Evolves progressively without beeing agressive. A very pleasent cigar. Reminds us with the glory days of cuba (precastro small cigars like Rey Del Mundo Royal Serie No.3 ) Althought we can feel the ammonia of a freshly rolled cigar (july 04) the aromas developped are so round and aromatic that we can almost forget that it's a young cigar. The finish is outstanding. We cannot stop smoking the last part even if we had to burn our fingers. A great cigar, will be even greater in a 3-6 months time. One of the best new cigars of 2004, our favorite. It has nothing to do with an Epicure No.2; We only hope that in the future Habanos will keep a consistent blend of this small jewel. LA CAVA.

Review Notes 1: Tried one from one of my regular shops, and was pleasantly surprised. Very even burn and smooth draw, with a rich coffee aroma that improved the shorter the smoke got. Took longer than I expected to finish, good lunch break cigar.

Review Notes 2: Smoked the 3rd cigar of a 3-pack of Petit Robustos with a couple cups of strong Starbucks coffee in the morning. This last baby had been resting in the humidor for about 3 months and I found it hiding under some younger cigars. What a treat! The burn and draw were perfect. The chocolate notes blended with the coffee to create a taste of mocha in my mouth. Never experienced anything like it, and I will definitely order some more HdM Petit Robustos for future enjoyment. I will try to age the new ones for a longer period if I can hold out. Highly recommended vitola.

Review Notes 3: Got a single in a "Sampler" and it was a nice change from a couple of poor corona's I'd 1/3 in and it was quite refreshing. It was a great sunrise smoke and I hopefully will be getting a few more of these down the road. For such a short Robusto, it was surprisingly full.
